Since the publication of "Business Model 2.0 Zukan" in 2018, "Business Model Zukai" has been embraced by many. We are now officially renaming it "Bizgram"!
Zukai Soken independently developed "Business Model Zukai" as a method for simply illustrating complex business models. It has been widely used by many through our notes, books, lectures, corporate consulting, and web services.
In recent years, with the introduction of our business model database "Bizgram," "Business Model Zukai" has increasingly come to be recognized as "Bizgram." We realized that the term "Bizgram," originally created as a service name, was being recognized as a concept that also encompassed the method itself.
Originally, "Business Model Zukai" was a general term and not easily established as a proper noun. With various forms of business model illustrations available, it became difficult to use "Business Model Zukai" to specifically refer only to Zukai Soken's method. Therefore, we decided to use "Business Model Zukai" as a nickname and "Bizgram" as the official name going forward.
For a while, both "Business Model Zukai" and "Bizgram" may appear on our website and in our communications. We would appreciate your understanding that "Bizgram" is the official name and "Business Model Zukai" is the nickname.
Incidentally, with this official name change, the "Business Model Zukai Toolkit" will also be renamed the "Bizgram Toolkit," and the contents of the toolkit have also been renewed accordingly. Please see the article below for details.
