Our B Corp certification
An international certification that audits social and environmental impact against over 200 criteria. We were certified in May 2026.
What B Corp is
A certification run by the US non-profit B Lab for companies that account for their social and environmental impact. More than 10,000 companies across 104 countries hold it (May 2026), and 107 of them are in Japan (September 2026).
Certification uses the B Impact Assessment: over 200 criteria across governance, workers, community, environment and customers. A score of 80 or above earns the certification (new standards took effect in March 2026).
Why we went for it
Turning a question that tends to stay vague — what makes a good company — into something measurable is the same work we do: putting complex things into a form anyone can handle.
We have shared that view since 2017, and wanted the same standard applied to how we run the company, not only to the work we put out. We were certified in May 2026.
Certification is a starting point
B Corp requires recertification every three years. It is not something you earn once; you have to keep meeting the standard.
We carry the underlying idea — business as a force for good — into the decisions ahead.
