On Monday, October 5, 2026, "B Corp 100 Collective Japan: A Future Woven by 100 'Challenges'" was held at Hitotsubashi Hall (Medium Conference Hall) in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It was organized by B Market Builder Japan, a general incorporated association. From ZUKAI, our CEO Tetsuro Kondo spoke in the pitch session introducing the first B Dojo cohort.

What the event was

The first B Corp in Japan was certified in 2016. According to the organizer, the number of B Corps headquartered in Japan reached 100 in July 2026. The event was held to mark both the ten-year milestone and the 100 companies.

The program included a talk session, presentations of projects done together with B Corps, exhibition booths by certified B Corps, and product introductions by sponsoring companies. Online attendance was also offered.

B Dojo, and ZUKAI's part

B Dojo is a program run by B Market Builder Japan that supports companies in obtaining B Corp certification. The first round ran from July to September 2025, with about 20 companies aiming for certification. ZUKAI took part in that first round and became a Certified B Corp in May 2026.

At the event, an introduction of the B Dojo program was followed by a session in which companies that joined the first round and became B Corps took the stage one by one. Each company had about one minute, to introduce itself and to say what it wants to work on as a B Corp. Kondo spoke for ZUKAI at the venue.
