ZUKAI Inc. has joined the "Public-Private Partnership Platform for Eliminating 'Transportation Gaps'" established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism!

This platform was established in November 2024 to solve the challenges of transportation-gap regions across the country and to promote collaboration between local governments, transportation operators, and various companies and organizations. Centered mainly on transportation operators and partner companies, it already has 167 companies and organizations participating (as of November 25, 2024).

[Background to Joining]

ZUKAI has long worked on solving regional challenges through visualization and dialogue using diagrams. A representative example is the "Community Drive Project" underway in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture.

This project was selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's mobility human-resource development model project. It aims to confront regional mobility challenges and the future, derive solutions, and cultivate and discover "community drivers"—people who promote (Drive) mobility in their community (Community)—as well as to develop the programs and tools necessary for that.

In this project, ZUKAI created a "Mobility Challenge Map" that visualizes the structure of social challenges related to regional mobility along with their causal relationships, contributing to building a framework in which people in different positions—residents, local governments, and transportation operators—share a common understanding of the issues, and in which discussion and consensus-building among stakeholders proceed smoothly.

Drawing on the experience and knowledge we have built up so far, we will contribute to solving regional challenges through the Public-Private Partnership Platform for Eliminating "Transportation Gaps."
