We released the Business Model Diagram Toolkit, a set of parts for drawing your own business model diagrams, for free on note.

The contents of the Business Model Diagram Toolkit: parts such as people, companies, money, goods, information, smartphones and shops, and arrows for the flow of goods, money and information.

What the toolkit is

A business model diagram places the people and companies involved in a business on a 3×3 grid and connects them with arrows for the flows of goods, money and information. The toolkit contains the parts used to draw that diagram. It is a Google Slides file, so you can copy and arrange the parts to diagram your own business or one you are curious about.

It was originally what the members of the Business Model Diagram Production Committee used so that everyone drew in the same way.

After the release

Diagrams made with the toolkit began to appear in companies' press releases and documents. We also heard from people who brought it up in a morning meeting or use it inside their company.

A little over four years after the release, handling the sharing requests and questions had grown, so we switched to a paid version. It is now the Bizgram Toolkit, and a new version with a manual is sold at the ZUKAI store.
